looks like the mini wheat ceral crop is ready for harvesting! I like it just the way it is.
Very nice color and scenery.
Notice that there is never any cows close to this feast?
Just curious, what parts were you struggling with?
Composition is always something I worry about but don't have any answers. I would have liked just a tinge bluer sky too.
It's straw, not hay. Cows can be picky eaters.

Here's a ready for harvest shot I did a few weeks back and a B/W I took about the same time. If you look for the little smart @$$ mini wheats, I ate them.
Wheat field with Clouds
Sigma 10-20 for depth of field

and did not share? meaney! as much a fan of b/w as I am, in this case the color shot has more visual impact as well as making me say woa, out loud. You are forgiven about the mini wheats this time!

I like your shot. Those things used to scare the snot out of me when I was a Little kid. They always seemed to be ....waiting.
I'm a country girl and I can't wait each summer to watch the process of rolled hay. I think it is a[beautiful picture.
Did you know that they are making rolled hay illegle? The cows are complaining because they can't get a square meal anymore.quote=lbeck_98]I struggled with several aspects of this shot. Any comments or suggestions[/quote]

Super images, the colour shots may be more pleasing too the eye, but the mono image is more dramatic, regards, Alf.

The color of the field is consistent with the sky. Having said that I'd swap for a more dramatic sky and adjust the color of the field accordingly. Otherwise I like it as is.
I think your "struggle" is over. And that is a perfect tittle for that first shot.
