I don't have too many of these, and most of them aren't too good, but here goes anyways.

Welcome to Day 190 :) Today it's supposed to be all about busses .. mass transit. Unfortunately for me I spent all day waiting on the cable guy and by the time he came to our house it was dark .. so I didn't get out to take any photos. I have no examples to post at this moment.
So Lets make it a freestyle day. Just post anything that you want to share .. I'll get out later on today and shoot something LOL ... :) I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with on the spur of the moment.

I'm guessing that somewhere these Jeepesy are considered buses.. this was at the local auto dealers but i didn't have enough money to buy it or the need for one.. and it needed a lot of work.
at least the lights still worked...

It's not me, It's one of the astronauts in the space station. He has all the cameras (nikons) supposedly all tuned to the lenses for special use in space. The are all just floating freely. The sad thing is they never come back to earth. Usually when they are finished with them they are discarded in space. Weight of the return trip is very critical, so everything not necessary is discarded.
Has everyone checked their computers for the DNS virus? If not, go to dns-ok.us website. It does an instant and automatic check of your computer to see if you have the malware. If you don't it gives you a green ok screen and if you do it is supposed to give you a red warning as well as instructions for the fix.

That's thoughtful of you to let everyone know, Janice 8-)
Here is another site you can download a program to check for some more viruses that will kick in tomorrow, They are usually attached to pictures.
download Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller
http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?qid=208283363This will check to see if any files, like pictures have the virus attached.

Well I think Ill take this opportunity to share some of the shots I took while on vacay in wisconsin...we rented a trike and a bike in Dubuque and my daughter in law drove with the two grandkids behind us as we followed the mississippi river ...it was OHHELLHOT....but...on the bikes it wasnt so bad. When I stopped for my photos everyone was sweatin' making me hurry up...lol...I love old barns and got a lot of those.
Like you and others on here, we do barns too but have you ever noticed the different architecture in the barns from one area to another? Now around here there are basically one or two styles but as we move south we start to see other kinds, like square ones for example. Along the Eastern Townships which border Vermont we see Anglo types of construction, very similar to the barns we see in Vermont. Quite interesting.
Been to the Mississippi in Wisconsin, Lacrosse but for some reason known only to the lobblies, we did not cross the blue bridge over to Minnesota.
As for biking...life is to be photographed, we do not need ''extra'' stuff, just what's happenin' at that moment. Y'know, you take a pic which might seem really ordinary or mundane to you, and you share it some folks will love it.
We spent our 25th cycletouring France, Belgium & Holland and all I can say is that we got married too soon, I had my Minolta X-700 and a pile of film, digitals were not yet available to me anyway. I gently proposed to return on bikes there for our 50th and was very surprised to learn just how profound the word NO could get. :-(

Yesterday I did what I call a ''wandering shoot'' and it is one of my favourites. I took off on my bike and shot subjects that are nothing outstanding, but more like the things we see while passingby in a car and say to ourselves, ''Oh well, too late I'll be back'' and naturally we don't go back. On a bike we are pedaling and time does not count, so I stop have a drink of water and find stuff that I'll shot and probably throw away later on...LOL.
I learned this when I began doing cycletouring, but found it time consuming because I was always stopping. Vermont is 175 miles long and can be done on a bike in 2 1/2 days, took us a day longer.
