I'm at Big Bend National Park and wondering if anyone has any location suggestions for some dynamite sunrise or sunset landscape shots. Thanks, Zosos
I remember hiking to something that had the word window view in it there. The sunset was quite spectacular. But make sure to take along some form of lighting because it gets very dark. No light pollution of any kind. Great for stargazing.

Zosos, take the scenic drive from park headquarters (Panther Junction) up into the Chisos Mountains Basin. There's a lodge with a fairly nice restaurant where you can have dinner and watch the sunset(which is usually spectacular). There's a large mountain near the restaurant (Casa Grande) that really lights up from the sun light striking it each evening. Enjoy!
Do you have a jeep type vehicle with 4 wheel drive? If so, there are several short off-road excursions worth taking, one of them leading to the hot springs. There are also stone buildings on this route worth photographing including what used to be an old place for cowpokes and others to spend the night while visiting the hot springs. A motel before the motor car was invented.
Big Bend is full of photographic opportunities. Call ahead and try to get reservations at the lodge. We were able to do so the day before arrival, but we may have been lucky.
