The new way of the future. There will be so many drones in the sky one day, you"ll need to ware a hard hat when the drones collide with each other lol.

I badly want a remote control flying camera. I promise not to spy and only shoot scenics. FWIW, I was a real military spy once!

That's what everyone things but the little cameras on those things see people like ants from way up in the sky. They don't have super telephoto cameras and lenses on them like the new helicopters do. They simply take landscape pictures and/or videos of the landscape.

Now if you see one hovering in front of your window, THEN you have a problem.

Check this out and it is only a matter of time until the price comes down. I recently saw a drone that could carry a full size Canon DLSR.

I'm building a jammer which is basically just a wide band frequency generator. The assigned frequencies that most of these work at are in the 2.4 or 5.8 ghz bands. 2.4 ghz is also the same frequency band as most WiFi networks if you go get or build a jammer in this band, you may temporarily knock out your wireless network, but it should pop up once you turn off the jammer.
Jammers4U ( http://jammers4u.com ) sells these although they can get pricey however the nice thing is you bring it to the movies and then block all those cell phones around you that are texting, making calls, etc. FYI my wife is a teacher and she asked me if she could use it in her classroom to keep the kids focused on her and not texting to their friends.
But then again, that shotgun blast would do the same thing for that drone over your house and perhaps send a definitive message (but I strongly advise against trying that solution for a cell phone in the movies or school)

Thanks for letting us FCC licensed folks know that you are planning on WILLFULLY violating FEDERAL LAW.

Here is a case where the proposed fine for manufacturing jammers was $34,912,500 - https://transition.fcc.gov/eb/Orders/2014/FCC-14-92A1.html

Here is another case where the proposed fine for the use of jammers was $126,000 - https://transition.fcc.gov/eb/Orders/2013/FCC-13-46A1.html

Here is another case where the proposed fine for the use of jammers was $144,000 - https://transition.fcc.gov/eb/Orders/2013/FCC-13-47A1.html

Good luck with your asinine criminal enterprise.

Absolutely. I can't imagine trying to track a drone with a camera on a tripod!

You did well - when I extend my P900 zoomsignificantly the lens waves about and it is hard to control - I probably need more practice.
