It is a really great shot Regis.

But I am about half asleep and a bit sappy. My second thought was PhotoShop out the salmon and replace it with a WW II style aerial torpedo and it would have made a great squadron emblem of the type so many units had during the war. With a built in radio call sign "Osprey".

Like I said a bit sappy right now.

Just think of it as a Red (Russian) bomb. Thank you very much, Robert.

Re-e-eally good shot. It's gotta be easier on the Osprey having the salmon in a streamline position.

I thank you very much, bobsisk. I feel bad for the salmon.

Excellent capture ! I have been following all your picture postings of the Osprey's in action. You have done an extraordinary job of documenting these agile birds. I am guessing that you are living in an area that is close to where these birds frequent. Great job and keep em coming. I like your lens combo. The 400 DO lens with 1.4 X TC is an excellent combo and produces excellent sharpness handheld which is awesome.

That is really a good shot. Clear and such composition with the red salmon and the colors of the raptor. Nice job.
