I would appreciate all constructive criticisms and comments on these images I took last week on a cruiseship.
I am posting to introduce my work to this site, as requested.
Palms on St, Maarten in the Caribbean
Trunk Bay Beach on St Johns, USVI
Stairway on Oasis of the Seas cruiseship
Really like the third shot and the second. Very nice pics.

Wow very nice if this is an introduction I can't wait to see what else you got! Nice job beautiful location...Where was it?
Top photo was on St. Maarten, second was on St. Johns in the US Virgin Islands, and the bottom was on the Royal Caribbean cruiseship Oasis of the Seas.
You're a natural! Great composition! What kind of camera did you use?
I don't know how long you've been enjoying phoyography....but I hope you do understand all the 'right' things you did in taking these photos.
The first photo doesn't have a compelling subject, it is pretty, sharp, and well exposed but it lacks interest; technically well done but lacking in artistry.
The second one is very well done. Interesting rocks in the foreground, nice leading shoreline to take you into the photo, great clouds, well exposed and the surf implies movement; a keeper for sure.
The color, curves, lines, and reflections in three all combine for a very stunning photo. It looks like a staircase railing to me, but I had to look at it a while to figure it out and it held my interest all of that time.
Two and three are really good but #1 just can't compete with the other two. If you had stepped through the palm trees and captured the rest of the scene, the rock wall, water, mountains and great puffy clouds, that would have been a much better photograph.
Just my opinion.
Post more soon, you do good work.
Eric
Like them all....the third is my favorite.....reflections make great pictures......good eye
*Sighs* Again, I am disagreeing - #1 I would like more foreground - the drive's leading line would help the composition (Of the trees, which are the subject, yes?), and in #2 I would like to see you try a little less foreground . . . #3 is just a great shot - abstract enough to be art, picked out by your excellent eye. Nice !
Love the third one! Beautiful . The other two are good but the third has your unique stamp on it.
I have sat at that same beach.... now I want to go back :-)
Keep posting. Number 2 is my fav, but I also like number 3! I also like number 1 but would like to have seen the walkway/driveway gone!
I dont like you..yr pics are too good
.

Architect...# 1 has great sky, color balance and sharpness but not a fan of the posing palms. # 2 is a beautiful scene that's well composed, sharp, balanced color and again great sky. # 3 is really cool, shows great abstract vision. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
