You are welcome. Admin wanted me to go back and insert some text. I thought that the heading was explanatory enough.
Steve

I believe Jerry posted this a couple of days ago. Anyway, it is a very useful video that shows the difference that both settings can do to our photography.
Interesting, thanks for posting.
Again, thanks for posting.

A quick summary with flavor attracts people who would think they knew or just not care. Giving a physical feel helps. For example: If on a board hinged on the high end.. the low end lifted heightens the low while the hi remains unchanged.
Very simply stated Saturation is linear vs Vibrancy which is more effective on the weaker saturated colors vs the more saturated in the original photo.
"Saturation is a uniform bumping up the intensity of all colors in your shot, regardless of the starting point of the colors. This can result in clipping (over saturation of certain colors which results in loss of detail in those areas) and over saturation of skin tones leaving them looking too orange and unnatural.
{Vibrance}
Vibrance is a smart-tool which cleverly increases the intensity of the more muted colors and leaves the already well-saturated colors alone. It’s sort of like fill light, but for colors. Vibrance also prevents skin tones from becoming overly saturated and unnatural." A Post By: Elizabeth Halford
