Here's an antiques niche in a Bavarian household, photographed 70 years ago. I have no idea what that Baroque clock sculpture would be worth today. It depicts an Arab or Turk mounted on a stallion and wielding a sword to fight off a snarling tiger, all in livid color and tiny details. I wish I could have taken the glass cover off so I could do a closeup, but circumstances prevented that. Color? Color film in Occupied Germany was available onlyy in the Post Exchange (PX) and was rarely in stock, so it was a matter of luck. Anyway, I was shooting medium format so color negative was the material, and its stability was very questionable in both the negative and the print, especially after 70 years. So good night all.

These are the only two shots I took today. Went to church (Not the one in the photo) Went out to eat. At home I watched the Eagles beat the Giants in the very last seconds of the game with a 61 yard field goal. The longest in NFL history. Took these shots on the way home from dinner.
