Hey Jon, I was hoping to be the beneficiary of your expertise.
The reason for the crop was due to body size and the way Aeon was sitting which really was not the most flattering. This young woman is stunning but by her own self confession, due to a long illness with lime disease, she had put on a little more weight than she desired. Not that there is anything wrong with photographing females that do not fit into that "slim" category and in fact I have a lot more photos yet to be processed with this in mind.
The BW was shot with a fine art nudity concept in mind where the model is not always engaged with the camera but I do concede a certain connectivity is lost in the translation. So much so that after reading your comments I had a look through the portfolio and was disappointed to find that I had instructed the model to pose this way for all the other shots in this set.
I shall post some more pictures where Aeon does engage the viewer.
Your comments and critiquing are always very welcomed Jon and I know that I learn from your honest opinion, thank you my friend.
