They're starting to turn in north central New Mexico, too - Jemez Mts and possibly the Sangre de Christos (I haven't really looked east to see the color there.) And, of course, we had rain last night and early in the am. If it was light, the color might last, but if it was heavy or steady, the leaves will be stripped pretty soon. Autumn is my favorite time of the year.
We have had wind and of course, many of the leaves have been blown off. I'm going to Ridgeway this next weekend for a workshop. Hope we have something left - however they turn later over there. We'll see.
