Fox Island is in Resurrection Bay, it is state owned except for some private property that was
homesteaded years ago. Today the property contains a restaurant and a lodge, both with
magnificent views. The lodge has a rustic feel but provides comfortable well appointed rooms.
There is no electricity in the rooms - yep, flashlights are provided. Also, no alarm clocks but
every room is provided with a pair of binoculars - like I said, magnificent views. We went whale
watching, kayaking, and visited a glacier. When I say "We" I mean our group of travelers ... 8 + our
guide. For those who are curious - I use Natural Habitat tours ... I have no connection to them
except being an extremely happy customer.
