Out on the Prairie again as the light was fading and I couldn't resist this shot as it seemed to join together with and complete what my other senses were experiencing. Right on cue the Coyotes joined together all around me in welcoming the coming of night. There was a light breeze with just a tang of fall coming off the mountains south of me that evoked a sense of longing that I could not quite put a name to. The location was a low ridge where the landscape all around fell away and the closest major features were all miles away.

I often think about what is was like to travel in this country back then. Folks often traveled all day just to attend a barn dance. Thanks for the input.
