Congrats ranger! May I ask what you will use the D850 for?

That's what I like about tdekany he always asks such sensible and pertinent questions. What most people will use the D850 for my dear man is to take photographs. Apart from this its use is a tad limited but I'm sure most realize this when they buy one. ie if your looking for a new kitchen appliance it may not prove the wisest of purchases.
Trust this info is of use to Mr tdekany.

I shot these test shots in my house, using my Jukeboxes as models..........i changed the resolution of the D850 to shoot in 25.6 megs........using a Nikon 105 1.4 lens and a Nikon SB 500 speed light
let me know, what you think.....

I am an old jukebox fan - have two 1940s vintage Wurlitzers that work. Well, last time I played them anyway.😎 Your Rock Ola is a modern repro of the Wurlitzer model 1015 of 1947-48 and plays CDs. In the 3rd photo there seems to be on the right a vintage early 1950s Seeburg model. Not enough picture for me to identify, but looks like it could be a model HF100R of circa 1954. The Model R had a speaker on each side as well as speakers in front. I have one of those as well. One of these days I want to get my trusty old 6D and tripod out and try to get some acceptable pics. However, in the very near future I will be having a close encounter with a cardiac surgeon. Maybe next year. Will post pics if I deem them satisfactory.

During the holiday season I put on the Seeburg about 20 Christmas records. After years of doing that tedious job of sliding those labels in and out I bought on eBay two extra title holders so all I have to do is switch the two holders. Surprisingly, they are readily available and in my estimation inexpensive. My Seeburg is in excellent condition. Yours appears to be at least as good a shape or better than mine.
