Due to another member posting I checked out the web site from the tour that he took.
I have been to Africa a few years ago and loved it.
However it wasn't a photo tour and we did a lot of things that i wasn't interested in. i wanted to be out in the bush shooting images.
That being said the tour that he went on did just that.
I'm thinking about going back next year. They the idea hit. Wouldn't be nice to get 4 or 5 uhh member and form our own group. lf you like the idea I will be more then willing to get the ball rounding.
The price for the 10 day trip is about $4500 plus air fare plus plus.
I will check to see if we can get a better rate if we go as a group.
Send me a PM and lets see what happens.
Air fare from sfo to Johansburg is $865 rt.

we were there 3 weeks in July and with airfare it was around $10,000 the company was run by photographers for photographers they did an amazing job getting us the shots take groups of 8
was that 10K each? Where did you go? and did you have a great time?
We went on a 10 day photo safari in March of 2013......cost was $6600/per person from Chicago. Worth every penny. There were only 20 of us...18 that were "the tour", the local co-ordinator, and our guide when we got there. It was great; only 6 per vehicle.
I went with OAT a few years ago and it was great';however it was not a photo tour and we wasted a lot of days doing things that I had no interest in. So the next time I go I want to do 100% in the bush.
