the only thing we know about anything in space is based on electromagnetic radiation coming from these objects, and a pile of moon rocks.

I'm shocked by how little you know about the subject.

We know a lot about mother earth, some just choose not to believe it.

The ocean takes up about 71 percent of Earth's space, yet a whopping 95 percent of that ocean is completely unexplored

what percent of space has been explored? you cannot even write a number that small.

this is just like a false equivalency stated by conservatives.... 2 big numbers, wow they are both so big, they must be the same.

Between 700,000 and one million species live in the world's oceans, according to a thorough new analysis, which also estimated that between one-third and two-thirds of those species have yet to be named and described.

we're at least 1/3 of the way to identifying ocean species, and we've nailed most of the bigger ones, it's the microscopic ones that are tough.

https://www.space.com/11642-dark-matter-dark-energy-4-percent-universe-panek.html we don't even know what 97% of the universe is made of... we've landed on 2 planets and a moon

...out of

Kornreich used a very rough estimate of 10 trillion galaxies in the universe. Multiplying that by the Milky Way's estimated 100 billion stars results in a large number indeed: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars, or a "1" with 24 zeros after it.

but yeah, we could learn more about our oceans, they are significantly more relevant to our wellbeing than all but one of the stars.

Thom, funny, but I used to go spend time in Chiapas in Mexico working as an archeologist in the seventies.
I used to meet a lot of Gringos down there and ALL were botanist that specialized in fungi, always looking for that ever more rare psychedelic mushroom!!
I asked once and was told that in that area there were NO poisonous mushrooms and many would get you high, just some more than others. Occasionally one would make them a little sick but nothing to worry about!!!
I hiked for 8 hours once with some old men(maybe 50-60) up into the mountains in Durango so they could collect peyote! Being poor, they didn't have horses, so we hiked....., and we HIKED!!
Those were the DAYS!!! LoL

Thom, funny, but I used to go spend time in Chiapa... (show quote)

Sperm Swallower seems to like licking the balls of any man that stands taller than himself which means 3+ billion men have the opportunity to have SS lick them.
