A Yashica Electro 35 GSN rangefinder film camera. Minty condition. This is the camera featured in the original Spiderman movie, thereby creating a cult following. Features a sharp 45mm f1.7 fixed lens. Specs and reviews readily available on Google, as well as an online user manual. However, it is relatively simple to use.

I last shot a roll of film in it about 8 months ago and the prints were spot on with no light leakage visible.
The camera is clean throughout, and a battery and battery adaptor are included. Additional info about the camera and battery adaptors can be obtained from yashica-guy.com.

The rangefinder is bright, clean, and accurate. Comes with OEM lens cap.

Price: $ 65 shipped to CONUS only. PayPal, money order, check (latter two shipped after clearing)
Non-smoking and pet free home.

I have bought and sold here on UH and have a 100% feedback on eBay for well over 100 transactions.

I found at an auction two weeks one the same as your , but with carrying case for $5.00 . I thing you may want to come down on your price.

Congratulations on your auction find. Have you run film through it to see if everythiing is okay? I would recommend it, because light seals on '70's era cameras are usually in need of replacement and will affect the resulting prints. And the GSN series was also prone to what is called the "pad of death" shutter problem. Look it up in Google.

I hope that your $5 find is in perfect working order. If so, you have done well. Mine is in perfect working order, no pad of death problem. I priced it in the range of similar condition GSNs online. Many of the better conditioned ones are located in Japan and involve expensive shipping costs added to the auction price.

That brought back some fond memories. My first 35mm camera way back in my Navy days. Took a lot of real nice shots with it before taking the plunge about a year later for a SLR. Still have mine although I don't shoot with film any more. Might have to buy a few rolls and take it out along with the old Petri and Pentax ME Super.

Great camera and had a cult following long before Spiderman movies. Find and peruse the Yashica-Guy web site. All things Yashica pertinent. You'll go looking for a Yashica 35CC. Much more compact.

If your GSN is as pictured and function as with no "pad of death" and working over/under meter, you have valued it too low, for sure. Yes, they sell at garage sales for $5. But they sometimes sell well over $100 on eBay, in condition like yours.

yashinon lenses often equal Zeiss quality and are often modified by Leica owners.

With Electro rf models, the GTN models are striking black enamel. Tons were made in silver and black.
