Does anyone know of aLeica repair shop in or near New York City. The repair is to a Leica M240. I have the opportunity to buy one used but sensor has marks on it. I need to have an estimate of the cost to have it checked, cleaned and/or repaired . I have heard some rather bad reports about the Leica center in Allentown NJ, particularly about long wait times and high cost. Are there alternatives that anyone knows about?

Geedah - scrolling down the link you were given, I've heard of Sherry Krauter on several occasions before. She was endorsed by one or more UHH members as highly professional and exceptionally good. /Ralph

Sherry is the go to in that area.
There are others but she's in that area. Top notch.

Not sure if Sherry works on digital Leica.... certainly a phone call could answer the question.
