Bay Area Extreme Heatwave - Staying Cool

On Saturday , Sept. 2 it reached 106 in San Rafael, CA. We attended a dinner party on the deck at Terrapin Crossroads (where summer evening temps are usually in the 60s) and our 5 year old granddaughter found a way to keep cool in the small park on the deck, soaking her new party dress. I was lucky to catch this shot with an old Canon SD980/IS point and shoot.
