Interested in purchasing a reasonably priced, digital back for my Mamiya 645AFDii and by reasonable, I mean one that doesn't cost more than my car! Is there a manufacturer, retail outlet, wholesale market, grey market or black market that can get the cost of a functioning digital back down into the hundreds of dollars instead of the thousands of dollars?
Nope, unless maybe it's stolen. These backs run several thousand dollars used.
No. The less MP in the sensor, the less it will cost. Some old models need to be tethered to a computer. Check ebay. That will show you what they will cost. Also remember that digital backs are generally cropped and don't cover the same area that 120 film does. It's pretty difficult to justify the purchase of a used 22MP back for your Mamiya camera when you could buy a used D800 or d750 for that price.
For whatever it's worth, I stumbled across this site in my wanderings.
http://www.igorcamera.com/mamiya_film_digital.htmI know nothing about digital medium format. I have bought used Large Format items from this seller in the past and have been very satisfied with the product received for the price paid.

These political/economic papers are scams deigned for nothing but
making money for the "expert." (I also heard that the black helicopters
are coming to take all of us to concentration camps.)
Utter bullsh*t. Don't be taken in. >Alan
