If you want it so it cannot be cut by a thief, try PacSafe. There is a steel wire going through the strap that prevents a normal sharp knife cut removal of your camera or camera bag.

I use an Optech utility sling, works good when I am out shooting where I need a extra camera so no need to change lenses, have a lens on the 1st that I want to use for the day and a different lens on the other camera to cover any shots that need a different setup. Have heard good things about Black Rapid, and Peak Design.

On a PLASTIC bodied camera such as yours NEVER use straps that attach to the tripod socket, it can rip right out of the camera. Always use the strap lugs that the camera manufactured supplied specifically for this purpose. I highly recommend all the straps from OpTech USA due to their all American design and manufacturing, extreme durability, and very low cost.

Like the others here I really like Optech but now very rarely use a strap. I now use the Peakdesign "clutch" which makes carrying the camera in your hand very comfortable and when done just stuck the camera in my shoulder bag. Find this less troublesome than a neck strap , but that is just my personal choice.

Black rapid straps are the bomb.
I am a big fan of Peak Design Slide.

I agree - Peak Design Slide has a great design.
Also, check the OpTechUSA. Very comfortable.
For comfort, I like the padded neoprene straps straps. Also quick release attachments on the camera end are handy when putting the camera on a tripod or in your bag. I've a D3300, D5500, and a high end D500 . . . They all came with the cheap lame strap from Nikon. . . .
