Matt I generally like this shot. If it was me I would do a little less foreground. I would crop it right at the first flat rock on the left. For me it would draw the eye to the horizon.

I feel your pain.
This is exactly what i had in mind. The person and boat are not just a dot on the shot. The horizon now has some "value added " to the picture. For me it is a 100% better.

Thanks. I wanted to enhance the low clouds at the horizon but don't know how. I fiddled with the brush but made a mess, just like I did in kindergarten. Matt

Nice one Matt. Fall does seem early on the Cape this year. Not a lot of beach weather this year, but we had a very comfortable summer. Great weather for biking and kayaking.

Nice minimalist photo. I agree that there's probably too much foreground of large rocks.

Matt, both are fairly nice. However, I think you could bring more texture out with different exposure/brightness settings and contrast adjustment. With the right touch, this would be a texture feast.
