Tel Aviv is an extremely cosmopolitan city with clean, beautiful beaches. Here are some sunsets taken at various times along the water of our favorite beach.

Well done, Toni! Great photographs.

Very nice. I have a sunset over the Mediterranean that I shot from my balcony in Tel Aviv that I posted earlier. I also have some rooftop photos. The views are magnificent and you did an excellent job capturing them.

Thank you ever so much. Yes, I commented on your beautiful picture from the balcony. I look forward to your Israel photos.

Nice. I went to Israel for 2 wks last year for my birthday. Only spent the first two and last nights in Tel Aviv. I went with
Overseas Adventure Travel and was at a kibbutz on the edge of the Sea of Galilee the day of my birthday. The markets are impressive...you could easily get lost! It was the hottest at the Dead Sea (104 in the shade). We spent 4 or 5 days in Jerusalem alone, where our guide was born.

Planepics,
Sounds wonderful even if brief! The Dead Sea is amazing, is it not? The heat, yes, is unbelievable but I loved the climate. The lack of humidity was a blessing to escape! Look forward to some pics! The Kibbutz life is just an amazing system to me.
Thanks for visiting!

I think it said on the post. It was a Panasonic FZ-200 (Lumix) f/2.8 max aperture throughout its 25-600mm optical range (plus it has digital zoom), but the min is only f/8. 12MP so it's not a powerhouse, but there were baggage restrictions and I didn't think I could sacrifice the space and weight of extra clothes for a DSLR, a couple lenses, and maybe a portable tripod. I bought the camera used from a Hog in Nevada a few weeks before the trip...I think I paid like $200. It was my longest (days), farthest and most expensive trip. I hope to blow that record out of the water in the future, but the trips I want to go on cost an entire year's net pay!! Search my topics if you want to see more Israel pics. I think they're on page 2 or 3 of the search.

Planepics,
The camera purchase was a great decision. The record-setting trip must have been a wonderful experience. I'll search out your other pics. Your future trip goals sound phenomenal. Wish you the best.

Toni
