Here is another window with a curious cow.
The pretty windows of a Norwegian Cottage.
"Windows in the sky; sky in the windows"
A large window, high enough to watch birds and wide enough to follow anything traveling by, was a favorite hiding spot for "Bear-Cat", especially if a soft mat was provided.
Cats love to hide inside windows
Here are two examples of two-story-high picture windows in Europe. The Swiss Pavilion of the Cite Universite de Paris, built in 1930, was designed by Swiss-born architect Le Corbusier. Each student pavilion in the campus was designed by a different architect to reflect that nation's style. My photo was taken in 1947. Hitler's gigantic two-story picture window, in his Berchtesgaden "Berghof" chalet, originally framed a magnificent view of Bavaria's highest peaks, but a bombing raid in 1945 shattered the glass. This a selfie I took in 1946 (my camera was on a tripod and had an automatic timer), since I was totally alone in the building. It has since been demolished.

Here's a couple from the Vatican Museum.
Some more windows. The last 3 were on the same old barn.
