A very high percentage of the other States in the 'expensive seats' are probably going to have a wonderful view of a lot of clouds.

Selling tickets to see the eclipse?! That's mind boggling. Can't people just tilt their heads upward - for free? The Woodstock Nature Conservancy is hosting an eclipse event - for free.

There will be planes flying above the clouds to get good shots and video. That's what I'm counting on.

One of my cousins has a farm just inside the zone of Totality. He will be viewing it from there. I'd love to go up to see him for that, but will be making that trip about 2 weeks later and can't justify doing it twice. I'll be watching it on TV.

The tickets are free - same as they are at the Woodstock Nature Conservancy.
