I know what you mean. I have a Sigma 15mm fisheye that I use only occasionally, but it didn't cost $1,300.

I have the Sigma 8-16 DX, Its a fun lens, but not worth a nickle at night if there is overhead or side lighting, Can you say lens flare?
The Nikon looks promising, Maybe I'll try one later for the D810.
