That is not drifting. That is out of control.

Drifting is a controlled burn-out typically taken around a corner - as in drifting around a corner. Minute 2.5 of the following video shows a classic drift. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6DrH6P9OC0

Did it this weekend, as a matter of fact. I was driving in my pickup when an 18-wheeler decided to change lanes without looking. I managed to get out of his way, but he took out my passenger side mirror. In my attempt to avoid him, I managed to clip the railing with the rear panel on the left side of my truck.
I swerved all over the road avoiding as much as I could (at 65 mph) and managed to get out of it alive.
The 18-wheeler never stopped. and in getting control of the truck, I didn't get the chance to get his license tag. I was too busy not getting killed.
