Durango & Silverton Railroadrango & Silverton Railroad K-36 engines 480 & 481 on the Turntable
I was able to hang out in the engine house and Turntable area and watch them put the 3 K-36 engines away for the night after a hard days work.

I was vising Soundtraxx in Durango and they have very close connections with the Railroad. Soundtraxx produces Sound Decoders for model trains with 100% authentic sound.

Good for you, getting this access!!!!

Check with them and ask when the photo night is? I think they have it a couple times a year. If you can find someone there that is a member of the Durango Photo Club, they can probably tell you. We lived there for fifteen years and was a member.
Wonderful capture. You were lucky to get the access.
