Sounds like you had a simply electrifying time, Sue. Nice pics, too.
The things we go through to get a good shot! Sorry you got shocked, but it was worth it. This is a great shot, Sue.

Merry, this is for you and your cows! Look at the poor boy in the first photo..covered with flies, etc. and they're bothering him sooo much! His buddy wouldn't get up and come over, soooo, as I leaned in to get a picture my arm touched the fence and guess what??? It was electrified! Got a good shock! Oh, well, at least I got the pictures! :)
Sue, love the photos but getting the shock could have been worse. I am glad you are OK.

oh poor thing looks mooserable with all those flies chewing on him.
ouch ...i can definitely relate ...i got shocked by the electric around don's
big garden recently, and it was hot! lol...the wire, not the garden.
the first time i ever got zapped by an electric was a few years ago . i was
feeding and watering a neighbor's horse while she was out of town.
i turned on the hose and while holding it over the fence i accidently
touched the hot wire, and i went down on the ground with a bang...lol.
that was the hottest wire i had ever touched. the horse just looked at me
and shook it's head...lol.
Paying the price for your art Sue? Nice shots but please be careful. I remember my first encounter with an electric fence as a kid in the horse pasture.

Been bitten by a few of those fences over the years, lol. Shocking experience!
Feel bad for the poor cows with those flies. A misery.
Good shots!
It certainly was, Earl!l :)
Thanks, Greg! It taught me a lesson!
Wow! Quite a story, Merry! So glad you're okay! Thanks for looking!
I've learned my lesson, Doc! lol Thanks for looking!
There must be something they can do to keep the flies off these animals! It really "bugs" me to see this! Thanks for looking, Randy!

Actually, he looks quite contented to me. I was raised on a farm and know what you mean about electric fences. On a dare, one of my old friends even took a leak on one and received the shock of his life.
Good shots, Sue!
I remember my uncle's cattle having problems with flies. Ugh!
