Thank you all for taking the time to comment. I do appreciate it.
MT - I hope you are right about this one bringing friends. Maybe when migration starts in a couple of months.

Not only great shots but you took composition into consideration, so great photos!
Terrific shots. Maybe more (and varied) visits could be attracted if it were off your porch under a tree in the backyard near other attracting flowers and plants - waddia think ? ? ?

Thanks very much. I try to consider composition whenever I press the shutter button. If I miss there I try again with cropping. Sometimes I get it right.

I like my porch. To that end I started bringing flowers to the porch. I think I have a dozen pots there now and try different combinations. Take a look.

Oh boy, a lovely setting - see what you mean. A handsome, flowery solution - thanks for the porch images - - - George
Great shots...
Just remember to put your feeders up early and keep'em full and keep'em clean...
They well come and come often...
I usually put mine up the end of April, early May at the latest...And I make sure that I always place one in the same place as previous years because they well look for it, some how they do remember...I always have one hanging from my kitchen window first and that's the one they look for and, if it is not in place they actually fly into the window if it isn't up....Good Luck and again great photo's
I've been trying for over a month to get a shot of my hummer with her wings frozen. Your's are fantastic! Can't seem to figure out why mine have so much noise and are always dark.
What a great set Bill. Excellent capture and composition; many thanks for posting the photos. /George
Great set! Love the hummingbirds.
These are fantastic images, Bill!

After a year and a half a Hummingbird has finally decided to visit the feeders on my front porch. Hopefully in the days to come he will return and I'll get some better shots.
These are great shots. You should be very proud of these....Rich
Thanks folks. I think you are all too kind, but I do appreciate it.
