It Was Wonderful Viewing An Amish Man Driving A Horse And Carriage Through The Harshaville Covered Bridge. I Was Not Set Up To Capture That Bunch Of Images!!! Oh Yes The Mistakes We Make!!!!

Very well taken. Another good county in Ohio for covered bridges is Ashtabula County. I took several there several years ago.

Great photos! Having lived for 7 years in the next county over from Madison County Iowa I have an appreciation for these old covered bridges.

Great photos, beautiful country. Do you have any idea why they are painted white? I think the original color was barn red.

Thanks Toby. Ohio has several other counties like Preble, Union, and Fairfield where some of their bridges are painted white. I don't what's the significance of it but I do love it!!! Oh I've seen white barns in Ohio. I'll post them at a later time.
