Great shots! I was also there, (I go every year) and did what you did. Walk the track and shoot pictures at each turn. I'll have to post a few. Did you do the "fan grid walk" before the main event on Saturday?

Thanks Tom. I wanted to have some background blur to show motion. I used a shutter speed of 1/300th of a second for panning, and slower for still shots. I brought a long lens, but decided I didn't want to carry it all day. I used a 24-105 mm lens which gave me a lot of flexibility. I admit I did miss some shots without the long lens, but I did get some keepers.

I havent been to Limerock in perhaps 6 years. Where is that swamp located ? I dont remember it !
In fact I used to race there myself in vintage races, so maybe I was just too focused on the track and not the surroundings !
