Worth the wait! Welcome back, and with a bang! Super images!
Thanks jederick,...the funny thing I noticed and remember,....... is how funny a persons human nature is.
Just after the camera and lens toppled over the ledge,....I looked around behind me to see if anyone saw what had happened to me,....funny how we can feel embarrassed by even an expensive mishap like that. Guess it hurts our pride or something like that?
and,....no,......no one saw it happen except me,...and that was enuf.
Awesome shots Marty. Keep them coming. Glad to see you back.

I haven't posted images on the hedgehog for I'm guessing maybe a couple of years.
I do log on often though to read members interesting posts and get my morning laughs.
Thought I'd jump back in and share a couple of recent images with members in the group.
Am located in down east Maine and frequent Quoddy Head State Park quite often.
Have been doing much trial and error trying to incorporate astrophotography into some of my landscapes and included my most recent try.
Also just completed two weeks documenting a family of common Robins nesting in my apple tree and included a humorous one to share.
This adult male Robin seems frazzled eleven days into its nonstop parenting responsibilities, feeding , nurturing and tending to three demanding offspring.
It's two more days to go,...until these juveniles will fledge the nest, finally giving the adult male and female parents a well deserved respite.
Took over 1200 images,...do I have free time or what ;-)
Every day is Saturday when your retired, and photography is a welcome venture to keeping this old timer somewhat fit.
Nice to be back with the group, hope you like the images.
Will post more if there's an interest,...thanks for looking

Marty,
Terrific photos, but you didn't include a download link so we could see their full glory!
My wife and I just made our fourth visit to West Quoddy Head. Your shot is making me very jealous.
Well done. Hope to see more in the future.
Welcome back and keep them coming...

Both are fine images, I like the lighthouse with the Milky Way most!
