I love your shots. Burrowing owls are one of my favorite subjects. We have many, many active burrows in Cape Coral, Florida. I have also photographed them in South Dakota.
Lovely set! They are such interesting birds.

Great, great, great stuff. Love them all but my fav is # 7. Thanks for posting.
These are really great. I especially like the back to back ones. That's an intriguing pose and very well shot.
Great series.....the flight pics are astounding
Very well done ! I especially like the flight shots. I photographed them in Florida for the last years & they NEVER fly, just sit around their burrow looking cute! Even getting
to the site well before Sunrise doesn't seem to make a difference. GREAT JOB !

Fantastic shots. Living in Washington too I would love to know where you found them? We found some barred owls but somehow the burrowing owls are so much fun to watch so would really appreciate it if you would share the location.

can't pick a favorite all of them are way to good
I know that spot near Othello. The broken concrete gutter is the giveaway. Happy to see another brood of owls there. Very nice shots. Great work.
