Don't understand why you would need an add on to something that's quite capable of doing the same thing in the right hands....

I edit my Nikon JPEG and RAW images with Nikon Capture 2. Their sharpening engine offers to me all I need.
My other favorite sharpening tool is Nik Viveza although at times I use Topaz Adjust.

If you have Photoshop, and know how to use it, I don't see how this could possibly be better. Some might say it could make the sharpening process easier, but I have all my Photoshop techniques automated in Actions so I doubt that too. There is not much new under the sun in sharpening that you can do after all.

DavidJon, when you ran the photos through, did you have to make any keystroke adjustments or did the program automatically make the adjustments.

For those who plug it into LR, do you do your editing first in LR and then run the "finished: jpeg through the program?

The program won't work on Apple computers.

I looked at the add.
It said $99,00
I can't afford $99,000

No, I didn't make any adjustments. I just let the program do it automatically to see if it was smarter than me. Apparently it is. I'll be fiddling around with in the next few days just to see what all the bells and whistles do. By the way, if you don't want to install it as a plug in, there is a button you can click to open the final image in an external program.

So it appears you can buy the non-pro version for $20 and upgrade to the Pro version for $30 with a backup CD.

DavidJon, I fear I have too many photo projects in the mill now, but probably try Sharpen on my 40+-year old wedding pictures.

Definitely sign up to get their special offers. They also quite often drop prices to $9.99 on various products. I normally wait for those...
