I agree. That's a great pic of a very interesting bird. I like Cormorants and have found them harder to capture than the egrets.

Very sharp, detailed images. I noticed the Cormorant's feet- webbed feet curled over the branch looks odd :) Anyway- isn't that lens the really light weight (expensive) one- something like 26 ounces? If I had a Nikon I would be very tempted- good thing I don't have a Nikon:)

Thank you very much. Yes it is 26oz which is light compared to its predecessor 300 f4 lens.
