A very nice set of photos Pat.

Thanks, Jimber. It was a real fun place to be - had never experienced it before - shame on me!

Some shots of last nights display.

They look so beautiful over the water, don't they! Looks like we had very similar "fire in the sky"!

md91- like that second one, like the others you added below also

Pat - great series hope you get to go to fireworks

judy - great series Judy love hubby getting started on food

lhammer - love those fireworks great shots

sjth - sure looks dangerous but great shots, like the hang gliders also

Thanks, Catgirl. FYI...those are not hang gliders. They are the US Army parachute team (the Golden Knights) jumping into the Washington Nationals stadium before yesterday's game with the NY Mets. Pay close attention to the size of that US Army flag hanging below the soldier ready to land. It was attached to him all the way down!

Yes, they do. I really don't appreciate the reflection until I see the photo.

This week I totally bombed out on getting any 4th of July photos. It has been steadily raining, several times a day and the countryside is so green it almost rivals Ireland! Darrell & I were out rambling today in the N. GA mountains in Blairsville, GA, and he slowed up long enough for me to get a couple shots of my favorite valley scenery. Nothing more patriotic than the landscape of our country!

Hello all,

It's been a while since I've checked in. Still dealing with a broken left arm.
I'm very grateful to all who have given so much both past and present to make this nation what it is today.
I do have one that I think makes a statement from my archives that is done in layers. Some time ago, Clicker sent me the instructions on how to work in layers and I immediately put them to use...
Have a safe and happy holiday.

What a lovely archive! So creative!
