Statue of Liberty - Staten Island Ferry

I don't make a habit of riding the Staten Island Ferry - maybe once a year. Yesterday, July 4th, seemed like a good day for a ride and I found out something about the ferries. The one we rode, the "Andrew Barberi" is not a good ride for photography. It has a pronounced vibration, more so than any ferry I have ridden in the past. My Olympus E-MD1 managed to override some of it but most photos were not as crisp as I am used to. Another point for visitors - ride the ferry on a weekday. The boat was mobbed with tourists and locals on a day out making it difficult to find a good shooting position. Anyway, I took this photo of the Statue of Liberty from the "Barberi".

Did u hear the Statue of Liberty has AIDS. They think she caught it from a Station Island Ferry or from the mouth of a Hudson.

My favorite boat to shoot off is the Kennedy, when it's running, it's the oldest boat running now, I also tend to go down to main deck, that's the car level not that they carry cars anymore, for those non-nautical types, I like the perspective better, Bob.

Yes I could remove the crane but didn't bother to. Otherwise many levels in the photo were manipulated in ACR.
