I went to a friend's house today for his 68th birthday (or as he puts it, the 28th anniversary of his 40th). Anyway, he has a teepee in his back yard that he built several years ago, along with all the the artifacts inside. He does massive amounts research to make sure his artifacts are as accurate as possible.

I grabbed a few shots today of his work.

I really like your pics you took, I love old things of the past ....... great shots. I also like the sepia tone of the pics .....

This was taken yesterday morning, I was kinda shooting into the sun and thought it was going to be a silhouette, I was pleasantly surprised!

Nice Shot Tracey. Here it is after taking some of the background light out.

You did a really nice job with the 2 b&w photos. The tones are really great, especially with that lighting. Sun and shade mix is very hard to deal with and you did a great job.

Thank you

You guys are making this difficult. Just when I think I have my top 5 narrowed down, someone posts one more that makes me go back to my list.

Master Carver Charles I. D. Looff carved Spokane's Looff Carrousel as a wedding gift for his daughter, Emma Vogel. Her husband owned the park which was its first home. It is now on Riverfront Park and is a beloved part of Spokane.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have yet to post one photo. I too just when I think I've found one someone posts one that trumps me and I have to go wearing out my mouse again.

hey gizzy it not about winning but about submitting the ones YOU really really care about. It's all way to subjective to float every ones boat.

Well... Hmmn... Jambulee, my boat's got an awful lot of worm holes in it, you think it'll still float?
