I had the opportunity to visit the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH Wednesday. It's one of the places I like to go when I want to get out of town but don't want to go too far. I don't recall seeing this camera in the Cold War Gallery before. It has a 240" (that's 6096mm) focal length lens and produces an 18"X36" negative. Not sure I'd try to carry it around. If you're ever in the Dayton/Fairborn, OH area and have never visited the museum, plan to spend a full day.
Now that is a walk-about-camera! lol!

Very cool! Here's another. This used by Brad Washburn:
" could detect a golf ball from 45,000 ft"
" weight 6,500 lbs"
Here is one of the planes it was installed in...Convair B-36 Peacemaker
It's amazing what they can develop - no pun intended. : )
And many think the government spying on us is something new?

I don't recall having seen it before either and I try to get down there 3 or 4 times a year. It's probably a recent acquisition.
