I just wanted to let you know he or she visits our back yard often. I was outside grilling on New Years around sunset and he or she came across the back wall. He or she was gone by the time I went inside and got my camera. About two months ago there was a pair of them that crossed our back wall. I was inside at the time looking out the patio window. Missed that camera shot too. They say they do pair up going into fall season. I just have to keep my camera close and ready for that once in a life time moment. Everyone have a Great New Year!

I've taken a lot of photos over the last 6 months. Some may be of interest to some people.
I started a blog site where a lot of my photos are available to my family and friends.

It has been 118 degrees here in Arizona this last week, so I'm inside rather than "Out and About" taking photos.

I do see them quite often. They come across the back wall and down into my yard. They don't stick around very long. Maybe that where they got their name "roadrunners". I just have to be faster with my camera.

They are quick, and just plain cute, too. I have seen two, one was in Elephant Butte, NM and the other was at a rehab center in Arizona. Hopefully, I will be able to get back out your way and see another one. Until then, I have to beg others for pictures.

We had a pair of bobcats come across our back yard last fall. I guess that is when they pair up to mate. Haven't seen any young one's yet.
