The stark contrast between white and the colored figures seem to suck me right into this image. Please download it for more detail.

Wow, you've gone far afield with this one Brent. No water!!!
Not at all anything like those we came to know you for, here the
faucet doesn't even drip. Nice work!....but I would be a bit worried
there, as something happened to "dark", these people don't even
have shadows? Ah, looking back now, I see they do, relieved,
because "science fiction" is a bit disconcerting..

Really like this composition.
The white effect surrounding the two people is in great contrast to their coloured clothing.
Good work, well taken.

Jenny, thank you for your input on this image. True it is very different than my surfing photos, but kindly please don't sterotype me! Deep down I am an artist first and a photographer second. That gives me liberty to open up all the possibilities of any and all subjects. Exploring light in different scenarios is something that all artists and photographers alike should pursue. Thanks Jenny for your fun and playful response to this image!

chasgroh, I'm glad you are diggin' this image. Thank you. chasgroh you also bring up an interesting point about the slanted walls. Obviously my lens (24mm) made some distortion and in the image below that I am posting I show the angles that are not vertical. In the second image I distorted it to straighten out the walls. Which do you like better? The distorted walls or the straight ones?

Thanks for noticing Geoff! It's always nice to be appreciated by my fellow photographers! I hope my photographs can inspire my UHH friends to help think outside of the box somewhat.

Thanks a lot Leicaflex. Here is the process: In Photoshop I did a duplicate layer of the image and desaturated it then took the eraser and erased out the figures to allow the colored figures below to show through. Then simply flattened the image. Fun stuff!

I like this one Brent because it asks questions. To me... is the mother berating the daughter or the other way around (if they are mother/daughter), who are they? The room is empty; why? And... the use of selected colour works perfectly in this instance beause there is an empty/cold room and two humans - total cotrast. I'm liking what you put on your cornflakes in the morning
