Charlotte, Nashville and Memphis

Taken on a recent (first) trip to this part of the country. The first picture is at the NASCAR Hall Of Fame in Charlotte. We really enjoyed the museum. No. 2 and 3 is of downtown Nashville. They were taken from a pedestrian bridge that crosses the river. Someone rented the bridge and had a private party on it. Live band and all. That's crazy. No. 4 is Beale St. in Memphis. We had a great time. We were introduced to that southern hospitality. Met some great people. We would go back in a heartbeat. FYI... Nashville rocks. Just by coincidence, we were there during the Stanley Cup playoffs (GO PREDS). The following weekend was the CMA awards. So much to do in so little time.

I agree they are all great. #3 to me is fantastic. While not a professional or someone who critiques, the colors in #3 are just the best.

"Fantastic" Wow, thank you. It was the perfect night to photograph Nashville #3. Mother nature was on my side. Nothing I did but point and shoot.

Thank you. You have heard of the perfect storm? That is what it was like for picture #3. I was at the right place at the right time. The lighting was as you see it. All I had to to it take the picture. Sounds so simple. But... we know better don't we? lol

Hi Tom,
I wish we (my wife and I) could have spent more time in your part of the country. We really didn't get a feel of Charlotte. As I mentioned, it was pretty quiet for the holiday. Unfortunately we were on a schedule. I hate schedules. Especially on vacation. I would have liked to see Hendrick's Motor Sports shop. You might enjoy the museum. I found it extremely interesting. There is a lot more inside than I expected. A observation from a couple of west coasters. People in your part of the country enjoy life. Kind of refreshing.
