My favorite animal in Rocky Mountain National Park! This was photographed 5 days after the May 18-19 snowstorm that dumped 31" of snow on Estes Park, up to 50" in higher Park elevations and delayed the opening of Trail Ridge Road (which usually opens Memorial Day weekend.)

Nicely photographed! Chinook Pass in the Cascades (an hour west of Yakima WA) didn't open 'til after Memorial Day either. I'm a little fearful to check it out - lol; I expect there won't be wildflowers 'til at least end of July.
