Nice way to spend a morning...

A friend, here in the Village, belongs to the Adelaide Soaring Club. They fly gliders as well as ultalight aircraft. Graham, my friend, is an instructor there and has had many years experience. He asked me some weeks ago if I'd like to go flying with him and at last we worked out a mutually suitable date. He flies out of the Gawler Airport, just north of Adelaide. I't situated in the Barossa Valley, Australia's best known wine growing area and a beautiful part of the country. I want to post more pics than I can in one post so I'll do it in three lots if you would like to see some pics from my flight. There was a lot of atmospheric haze and some smoke from farmers burning off but I still managed to get some reasonable shots.
That is a great way to spend a morning Ron.Great shots.

Thanks Doc, it was very tight but after all, it is an ultralight aircraft...I was just thankful it was fully enclosed and not open to the elements like some other types...
