This is my First post here. I'm using a Nikon D3400 that I bought earlier this year, and a Nikkor 70-300mm lens from my old N65 that I have to manually focus but am working on getting a 55-300mm Nikon lens. My only real photography "training" was in high school 20+ years ago.
Pelican
Group of Pelicans
Ripples on the lake
Red Wing Black Bird
Hanging out in the grass
Lunch?
Field at the park
Goose Family
Time for takeoff
So close you could almost touch it

A very enjoyable set, thanks for sharing with us!
Welcome and very nice shots. Is that Mt Hood in the background?
Welcome, jaheater! That's a wonderful park you have there with all this wild life! My favorite is "Ripples on the lake". When you get a lens that can "zoom" you'll be able to get closer pictures of the birds.
Very nice first post. Mahalo for sharing.
