I bought FX camera the D750 Nikon body only. Anyone who own the same camera or know what FX lens is best to match the camera. Appreciate.

The 28-300 is versitile and fairly sharp. It's on my 610 most of the time for those grab-and-go opportunities.

No one can say which is the BEST, because the best lens(es) will depend on your photographic style and preferred subject matter.
I can say that I really enjoy shooting with a 50mm lens (f/1.4 or f/1.8) on a full frame camera.

There is no lens that is "best" for every genre and your photographic vision. If you want a one lens that tries to fit all, then the 28-300 is a good one. Personally I do not have that lens. I prefer a blend of several zooms and some primes , I pick the lens that best fits my subject and how I want to show it. For example: there are great portraits to be had with a very fast prime lens. Yeah you can shoot the same shot with your fits-all lens, but how much will the background clutter up the image you want to show? The image is no longer a portrait, but becomes just a record of what is in front of your camera. If I had to pick a zoom lens to start with I might choose the 24-120 F4 nikkor. A little wider, with a fixed aperture that is not terribly slow. And if you need longer, then either crop, or use evolution's zoom, and walk into the scene? Also three prime lenses in that same range can do wonders for you. All can be fast, and when you use a fixed focal length lens for a day you teach yourself so much about what the lens can do, and what your vision can evolve into with some careful planning before snapping away. Just some thoughts.

You have not said what type of photography you do more often. Nikon has a very good selection of lenses to use with your camera.
If a walk around lens is what you need you have many to choose from. The 24-105 or 24-120 could be a very good first choice. The 28-300 suggested by Jerry is also excellent.
I do not own those lenses, my walk around is the old 28-105 D, but what I have read about those lenses has been very positive.

I would suggest you look at your earlier images and notice where they land. For example, are they in the 35mm range or the 200mm range? It depends on your subject matter. I did it and discovered many of my images where between 28mm and 50mm. I would have guessed they would land in the 200mm range. Now for sports, which I shoot a lot, that's a different story. However, for walking around, if you look, you might be surprised. If so, then either a good 35mm prime or 50mm prime along with a short tele might be best. If you're a birder then a longer tele would be better. However, go back and look at your past images, then decide.
