I startled the first little guy and now he wanted to see if I was following. ( Camden Maine )
2nd one, I knew there was a nest so I called with coon trill and he popped up out of the nest. ( Thomaston Maine )
I saw this little guy run behind a tree so I waited and waited then I spotted him watching me.
This one was in Thomaston Maine, I knew there was a nest so I called with coon trill and he poped up out of the nest
Great shots!
How do you produce a "coon trill"? Is it a device I can buy in a store?
I while back I found some baby coons and I recorded them talking amongst themselves, it works great, I haven't checked but I'm sure you can capture it on utube. found this one it will work.

So cute! I just love their little hands. Nice shooting.
Very nice. You may have captured 'rlaugh' in an unannounced travel venue!
They photograph very well. You did good on these shots.
Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement.
These are good pictures. Many years ago I worked in a hospital. I was in the busy notes doctor room and in walked a colleague I hadn't seen in a long time. I said "Hi I haven't seen you in a Coon's age." Meaning in a long time. I was later counseled for my "racist comment". I'm not saying I agree, and I don't because it is not talking about people it's talking about animals...just be careful
