Sell the Nikon setup and go m4/3. Olympus EM5ii with 12-100mm plus a Panasonic 100-300mm v2...or if you can afford it the em1ii. Toss in a small prime like a 25mm f1.8 for everyday low light shooting.

I agree you will want at least a Micro 4/3 sensor or you will be disappointed with image quality compared to D7100. I'm liking my Lumix GM 5 more and more.

Alas Panasonic discontinued it. You might look at the GX 850. I thought the EVF necessary when I got the GM5 but find I use it little. The LCD works incredibly well in bright sun and because of touch screen I prefer it more and more.

Always use the "quote reply" button, so people will know to whom your response is directed...

A stream of "Thanks" responses generates a useless email stream in everyone's in-box.

Agreed that all of the above cameras would meet your needs, and actually handle one to see how you like it. Another important factor to me is the local photo shop, which brand they carry and how they support their clients ( see the other forum: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-464596-1.html ).

You are giving up a lot with that move. I would suggest using the Nikon 18-200 VR II lens. It is much lighter than that monster lens and you will have many more options retaining your current Nikon D7100.

I second the motion re Nikon 18-200 VR lens. It is my walk around lens. Have used it for over 2 yrs. with zero problems! Enjoy!
