I have been shooting HDR since last October and started experimenting with long exposure HDR a couple of weeks ago. I bracket 5 shots 2 @ -1 and 2 @ +1. I set the camera to shutter priority with speed set from 1.3 to 3 sec. Spring park images shot with Nikon D7100 and Tokina 11-16mm, moine creek images shot with Nikon D7100 and Nikor 18-55mm kit lens. This eliminated the need of ND filtering and I really like the way the images turned out. I will be doing more of this in the near future.

Since picking up my new NISI filter holder I was thinking along the same lines using filters but your technique seems to work real well without external filtering.... really nice effects.
Great pictures--almost as if you're there.

To be clear these images were taken early in the day just after sunrise. I would imagine a filter would be required in full sun to get this effect.
I love your waterfall shots. Would have liked to see them in download.
I like these Duane. Very nice work!

Duane: Wow... love them brilliant colors beautiful scenes....
I like these. I have done some long exposure hdr's but have used a 10 stop filter. I like to keep the aperture constant. However, can't argue with your results.
