Last weekend I went in a wildlife shoot with George Lepp. Here are a few of my captures. All taken with a NikonD810 and 70-200 f2.8 lens.

Terrific set but holy smokes that eagle landing, wow. When you clicked the shutter, did you know you just hit a home run? Gary

I was shooting at 6 frames per second with all of these shots except for the Owen portrait. George was shooting at 14 frames per second with his Canon. I found out how really hard it is to capture birds inflight.

Nice set of images. Was this a private ranch or a rehab center? I know there is a nice place for raptors in Bend, not far from you. They are great places to get captures like these. Thanks for sharing.

We were at the High Desert Museum for a private shoot. It was a great opportunity to shoot the birds in flight. We did not have any restrictions so could go anywhere on the property. I have over 2000 images from the shoot. Getting the birds in flight was difficult. The falcons are very fast. I will post some more images when I get them processed. Right getting ready for a trip to northern Idaho for some waterfall photography. I'll be back in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will be heading for Northern Idaho on the 14th of June. Do you have any recommended spots?

Beautiful captures. I especially like the one of the golden eagle coming in for a landing.
